you’ll always understand where your dogs are located. the guess job is completely gone. you always understand their exact location as a consequence how greatly he and she are from you. finding your dogs is custom too effortless withy that unit. you’ll love it.
the extended range antenna is a must. i have no, non- still tried over run the unit withy the factory antenna installed. i live inside the mountains withy pretty solid terrain as a consequence a lot of dense forest as a consequence don’t really expect it over job well without the extended range antenna. since i’ve had that system, the farthest i’ve been away was 4.5 miles as a consequence was still tracking my dog. it works through line of sight, hence i wish lose communication withy a dog if he and she or i go into a hollow; however, it is only for a brief period of time until one of us gets out of the low spot. this can happen inside less than a half mile distance. the gps keeps the last location on the map where it had last communicated withy the collar, hence still if you lose communication for a while, you’ll still understand where-ish he and she are located.
i bought the combo, astro 220 withy the dc30 collar. it worked hence well that i immediately bought two more dc30 collars. Garmin Astro Bundle 220 really did a nice job here.
