This is a good quality multimeter at a fairly reasonable price. Electronic Specialties 585K Has whole the functions that one would commonly motivation for automotive use. The clamp-on wire feature is good for measurement RPMs while tuning up. The solely drawback for this unit is that the instruction booklet is identical poorly written. There are at least a half twelve spelling mistakes that are selfsame obvious. The instructions are identical basic and do not actually help the novice in knowing how to usage the unit for different automotive tests and do not forever intelligibly shew how to hook up the leads for measurements. It would also be nice to experience the self adjusting scale orbit on this unit for the cost scope that it is in. Other than that, I conceive if one is look for a multimeter in this cost range, they will quite satisfied with this unit.I merely recieve my multimeter. Its quite usefull for everything i need. The solely problem comes, if you are an amateur, the instructions are simply not to useful. The multimeter is excelent, i employment it testing my cars rpms, contain resistance, continuity of ground cables and many more. For the cost its merely what I needed. Glad to observe it.
